Expo Centre Sharjah is getting ready to host the second edition of Kitchen Equipment & Technology Exhibition Middle East, which will take place from December 8-10.
The event will be held alongside the third OIC Halal Middle East Exhibition & Congress, effectively serving as an extension of the halal event and attracting most of its visitors.
It will aim to help F&B industry professionals choose the right technology and equipment, as the market and guests’ needs rapidly evolve.
“Technology is dictating the way food is being prepared and served. Chefs and restaurant managers want their products to look, feel, and above all be authentic all the time. New technology is making this more possible than ever before,” said Expo Centre Sharjah CEO Saif Mohammed Al Midfa.
“Gadgets are fast becoming the heart of hi-tech kitchens. These days chefs can surely indulge in the kitchen craft with the right repertoire of items that are user-friendly, safe, cost-effective and designed with latest technology.”
As in the launch edition, a key highlight of the event will be the ‘Chef’s Tech Arena’, which will feature a complete functional industrial kitchen, with live demonstrations.
Expo Centre Sharjah has tied up with International Centre for Culinary Arts, Dubai, to host this special section. Equipment supplied from Kitcherama, Elegant, Winterhalter, Rational & Ronai will be used in preparing a set menu with ingredients from Sadia, IFFCO, Al Jazira Poultry, Arabian Farms, QS Foods, Nellara Rice, Al Hatboor & Greens International.
“The show last year not only provided easy access to latest kitchen essentials to the industry but also became a gathering point for professionals as it was the only show of its kind in the region that focused on kitchen equipment and their usage,” added Al Midfa.
