A new hotel and residence in Azerbaijan, which bears a strong resemblance to Dubai’s Burj Al Arab, is to be operated by Trump Hotel Collection.
Trump International Hotel & Tower Baku stands at 33 floors tall in the country’s capital, Baku, and will have 72 ultra-luxury residences and 189 hotel rooms.
It is set to open in June 2015, and guest amenities will include a 1409 square meter spa with indoor swimming pools, 400 square meter fitness centre, 1950 square meter business centre, 147 square meters of retail and a signature restaurant with a “globally acclaimed restaurateur”.
"Trump International Hotel & Tower Baku represents the unwavering standard of excellence of The Trump Organization and our involvement in only the best global development projects," said The Trump Organization chairman and president Donald J. Trump.
"When we open in 2015, visitors and residents will experience a luxurious property unlike anything else in Baku - it will be among the finest in the world."
Hotel guestrooms will start at 60 square meters, with city or sea views, and among them will be 40 serviced apartments with equipped kitchens. There will also be 30 suites.
"This incredible building reflects the highest level of luxury and refinement, with extraordinary architecture inspired by the Caspian Sea and sophisticated interiors that seamlessly blend contemporary style with timeless appeal," said The Trump Organization executive vice president of development and acquisitions Ivanka Trump.
"We are looking forward to bringing our unparalleled Trump services and amenities to Azerbaijan."
