Damac Properties is set to open two more serviced hotel apartments in the Burj area of Dubai over the coming months, as it continues to expand its hospitality business.
Cour Jardin and Captial Bay will join Canal Views, which opened last month, and Damac Maison – Dubai Mall Street, which started welcoming guests just under a year ago.
The company also operates Naia Jebel Ali and is aiming to become the largest serviced hotel provider in the Middle East by 2018.
“Our expansion in the hospitality sector falls within Damac’s strategy to be at the forefront of the hospitality sector in Dubai and the Middle East,” said Damac Properties managing director Ziad El Chaar.
“We currently have more than 10,000 serviced hotel apartments in development, all of which will be delivered by 2018. This will position the company as one of the largest hotel apartment operators and developers in the region.”
Damac currently has several hotel apartments under development across Dubai, including in the Burj area, Jebel Ali, Jumeirah Village, Dubailand and Dubai World Central. It also launched Ghalia Constella, the first officially Sharia-certified serviced hotel apartments in the UAE, earlier this year.
“We offer bespoke services to our residents and customers across all projects, setting new standards in the hospitality sector and driven by our aim for excellence, not only through the regular day-to-day services, but on various levels, including design, functionality and know-how,” added El Chaar.
“Damac’s hotels and hotel apartment projects offer a practical and comfortable solution for busy travellers or families visiting Dubai for vacation or business purposes. They present a great opportunity for buyers and investors who like to earn income from the rental pool scheme that allows for a return to owners when they are not utilizing their properties.”
