Park Regis Kris Kin hosts blood donation event

Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai organised a blood donation camp at the hotel, encouraging team members to participate in the initiative.

The drive was held in collaboration with Latifa Hospital’s Dubai Blood Donation Centre, with a mobile unit located at the hotel.

Park Regis Kris Kin general manager Scott Butcher commented: “As part of our corporate social responsibility policy, we always take up initiatives for the good of society. The recently conducted blood donation programme was yet another addition to the various causes that we have been supporting.

"We decided to encourage our staff members to donate blood because one blood unit can save three lives.”

“We partnered with the Dubai Blood Donation Centre in Latifa Hospital as it supports various humanitarian causes. It provides blood for thalassemia patients who are in constant need of blood. In addition, blood is also required by patients who undergoes open heart surgeries, cancer patients or patients with bleeding cases,” he added.

The hotel’s staff frequently participates in campaigns, including walkathons to raise awareness about breast cancer, diabetes, autism, or genetic disorders. The hotel has also been making an effort to reduce its carbon footprint by incorporating environmental best practices.
