Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach has appointed Antoine M. Lhuguenot as the hotel’s new general manager.
He brings more than 30 years of hospitality experience to his new role, and will be focused on the brand’s vision, and driving revenue for the property.
Commenting on his appointment, Lhuguenot said: “Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach is playing a key part in attracting business, leisure travellers and large MICE groups alike, to Dubai. The hotel will continue to focus on delivering a personalised “cousu main” service; the art of anticipating and understanding the needs of our guests.
“In addition to this, we will be introducing creative ways to enhance visitors’ experiences. Dubai’s growing prominence on the world hospitality and tourism stage, and the ever-changing needs of today’s travellers require flexibility, attentiveness and a tailor-made approach.”
The French national holds a diploma in hotel and catering management, and a certification in Hotel Strategic Management from Cornell University.
Prior to moving to Dubai, Lhuguenot was general manager at Sofitel Plaza Hanoi in Vietnam. He has spent more than 25 years with Accor, and has held general manager roles at properties in Northern Ireland, the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia.
