Dubai's Capital Club hosts craft fair

Shaheen Nouman, December 30th, 2014

ENSHAA group of companies’ Capital Club raised a toast for the festive season with a craft fair for its members. The event was attended by the members of the club along with their families, and the afternoon was marked with carols, artisan crafts, turkey and hot mulled drinks.

The Club’s Al Hamra Grill and level-four terrace hosted the celebrations, while the American School of Dubai Choir and the Dubai Vocal Ensemble Choir entertained the attendees with holiday tunes.

Local artisans showcasing and selling their craft at the fair included QueenB Arts & Cards, The Amal Project, Mawaheb, and Little Majilis.

Capital Club’s general manager Emma Cullen said, “This time of year holds a special place in our hearts, because we get the chance to spend time with our members and their families and friends. This year we really wanted to make it a family affair, which is why we decided to have a craft fair and include the talented young voices from the American School of Dubai Choir. This way our members have a great place to get into the festive spirit, spend some quality time with their families, and even get some shopping done. We also had a lot of fun activities and some special gifts for the younger ones.”

Capital Club hosts a number of such events throughout the year. The members only club, situated in DIFC, also helps professional and social networking.
