Marcel Oostenbrink, a 13-year veteran of the hospitality industry, has been appointed as the new resort manager at Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh.
He most recently served as resort manager at the Banyan Tree Resort in Ras Al Khaimah and had been with the operator since 2007, also serving in the Maldives, Seychelles and Vietnam.
A second generation hotelier, he holds a Bachelor’s degree from the International Hotel School The Hague as well as a Master’s degree in hospitality management from Erasmus University of Rotterdam.
His appointment marks a return to Sharm El Sheikh, where he participated in the management trainee program in the Hyatt Regency Resort in 2001.
In his new role, Oostenbrink is reporting to Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh general manager Maria Jagla.
