Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana has rebranded its Arabic restaurant, previously known as The Beach, to Kamoon. Translating to cumin in Arabic, the restaurant will offer traditional and specialty Arabic dishes.
Kamoon is a beach-front property at the Abu Dhabi hotel and offers alfresco dining by the pool, beach and on the terrace, along with an indoor dining setup. The restaurant previously offered a variety of seafood, and will now have a menu featuring oriental dishes such as traditional hot and cold mezzas, as well as chef Abu Halab's signature dishes.

In early times, cumin was once known as a seed that had the power to bring back people from their wanderings.
The restaurant hopes that the essence of the name will keep the guests visiting the restaurant again and again.
