Ramada Downtown completes soft refurbishment

R Hotels' flagship property in Dubai, Ramada Downtown, has been refurbished to offer more contemporary accommodation to its guests. The project, which began in May 2014, was executed in phases and saw a makeover of the hotel’s suites and penthouse, lobby, lifts and meeting rooms.

The new look for the hotel features pastel colour fixtures for the suites and penthouse, while the common areas including the lobby and lifts have been decked in earth colours to create a cosy ambiance.

Ramada Downtown has added a new meeting room and now offers three meeting venues. The all-day dining venue, Kenza Restaurant, which was re-launched in October, features newly-renovated interiors in shades of red and white and is complemented by wood finish and Arabic ornaments.

Property’s general manager Samir Arora said: “Ramada Downtown, along with the properties under R Hotels, seeks to provide comfortable and stylish accommodation, matched with high standards of service to every discerning guest.

Additionally, the hotel’s back of house areas, including the staff dining room, kitchen and laundry, has also been given a facelift to provide better facilities and work place for the staff.
