Tom & Serg to open The Sum of Us this month

Tom Arnel and Sergio Lopez have been working on a new speciality café concept, called The Sum of Us, as reported by Caterer Middle East in September 2014, which is scheduled to open this month.

It will be split into three elements: a sourdough bakery, a gourmet café, and a coffee roastery.

The new outlet will be working on creating everything from scratch — to this end, the coffee will be roasted in-house, and the bread will be baked at the outlet, fresh every day.

The outlet will be located at Burj Al Salam near the Dubai World Trade Centre, and sources say the brand positioning will be slightly higher than Tom&Serg in Al Quoz.
