The Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) has launched a recruitment roadshow across the country, with 2100 hotel sector jobs up for grabs for Saudi citizens.

Organised by its affiliate, the National Tourism Human Resources Development Center (Takamul), in collaboration with Human Resource Development Fund and the National System for Joint Training, the interviews started at the beginning of the month at Holiday Inn Riyadh - Olaya.

Bakkah Arac Hotel in Makkah is scheduled to host next stop of recruitment interviews, on February 4-5, followed by Intercontinental Hotel in Jeddah, on February 5-9.

On February 11-12, Crown Plaza Hotel in Al Madina will host the fourth round of recruitment interviews, while Carlton Al Moaibed Hotel in Damam will be the final stop, on February 11-12.

Acting director general of Takamul, Nasir bin Abdul Aziz Al Nashmi, said the process reflected the strength of SCTA’s relationships with its partners in the public and private sectors under its efforts to achieve the objectives of its sustainable development plan for tourism.

He added that SCTA president His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz was paying great attention to the recruitment interviews.

“The directives of HRH President of SCTA persistently reaffirming SCTA’s commitment to support job creation programs in tourism sector as it is considered the second economic sector in terms of rates of Saudization,” commented Al Nashmi.
