The Four Seasons Hotel Baku has raised the stakes in the competition to offer the most expensive Valentine’s Day package – with one which comes in at US $127,756.

Last week, HotelierMiddleEast.com reported on a Valentine’s Day package at Shangri-La hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi, priced at AED400,000 (US $108,898) and including a private limousine pick-up, a stay in the Presidential Suite, spa visit, private rooftop dinner, gifts selected by a personal shoppers and a night time helicopter ride.

However, another offer has now emerged at the Four Seasons Hotel in the Azerbaijan capital, which tops it, at least in terms of price.

Appropriately called ‘The Greatest Valentine Day Ever’, the package starts with a limousine pick-up from anywhere in the world, first-class flights to the Baku, and a two-night stay in the Presidential Suite at the hotel.

It also includes a visit to the top of Maiden Tower, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where the couple will have Champagne and caviar, followed by a special Valentine’s dinner at the Kaspia restaurant.

The guests will also get a 24-carat gold massage and ultra-hydrating milk bath, to relax and rejuvenate and, to finish off the package, his and her Cartier watches with names and date engraved.

Throughout the stay, the suite will be decorated with hundreds of red roses and candles, and the couple will also be able to call on the services of a personal butler.
