Emirates Academy to host open day

The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management (EAHM) is to host an open day on Saturday March 7 to showcase its range of courses to potential students and industry professionals.

The open day will offer opportunities to experience the campus and view the student accommodation, meet the dean of the academy, and find out more about the academic programmes offered.

Attendees will also have the chance to meet EAHM’s finance and student support advisers and chat to current students and others who are considering EAHM as their choice of University.

Ron Hilvert, managing director of The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management, said: “The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management (EAHM) is the only university in the region that offers a three-year Bachelor of Business Administration degree with honours.

“All our degree programmes are accredited in the UAE, the UK & Australiasia and we work in academic association with the world-renowned Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland.

The open day will take place on March 7, 2015 from 10:00am. Tours of the campus begin at 10:00am, 11.30am, 1:00pm and 2.30pm and presentations will begin at 10.45am, 12.15pm, and 1.45pm.

The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management (EAHM) in Dubai is a business management university and part of Jumeirah Group.

It provides university-level hospitality business education and offers both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees designed to develop the hospitality leaders of the future.

EAHM works in academic association with Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne and all programmes of study are fully accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the United Arab Emirates, the Institute of Hospitality in the United Kingdom and THE-ICE (International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education) in Australia.
