Sheikh Mohammed opens Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has officially inaugurated the mixed-use Creek Heights Residences, which features a five-star Hyatt Regency Hotel.

Developed by Wasl Asset Management Group, the project also features luxury furnished apartments. HH Sheikh Mohammed attended the opening and toured the property with H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM).

The 464-key hotel, located in Dubai Healthcare City, features 76 suites, a Regency Club Lounge, a spa with eight treatment rooms, signature gym and fitness studios, and conference and event facilities. Meanwhile, the residential element has 405 apartments.

Afterwards, Sheikh Mohammed launched and viewed models of three more projects being developed by Wasl, including Zabeel Park 1, a mixed-use complex on Zabeel park comprising hotels, residential and office buildings, cafes and restaurants, recreational facilities and retail.

It will also feature what is being described as the first year-round snow fountain, as well as a water fountain for entertainment. The main tower in the project will take the shape of number 1.

Sheikh Mohammed also viewed a models of Dubai Gate, a project that will emerge as a city of innovation and creativity, the gateway to Dubai, from Jebel Ali near the Dubai Metro station in Jebel Ali.

According to WAM, Sheikh Mohammed expressed his satisfaction with the promising projects, which will boost the national economy and help develop and stimulate the tourism sector in the UAE.
