InterContinental Hotels Group has opened Holiday Inn Jeddah Gateway, marking the group’s fourth property and second Holiday Inn-branded hotel in the city.
Located at a ten minute drive from King Abdulaziz Airport, the hotel is within walking distance of Jeddah International Exhibition and Convention Centre. It is also located within close proximity to Mall of Arabia, and targets both families and business travellers.
The hotel comprises 180 rooms and includes a rooftop swimming pool, a gym, spa, Moroccan baths, and salon.
Other facilities include six meeting rooms which can accommodate groups ranging from 10 to 250 people.
F&B offers at the hotel include all-day dining restaurant The Gate, and the Pool Garden by the rooftop pool offers snacks, juices, and mocktails.
The hotel also offers Holiday Inn Hotels and Resort’s ‘Kids Stay and Eat Free’ programme, which allows children under the age of 12 to stay for free when they share the guestroom with an adult family member.
IHG chief operating officer for India, Middle East, and Africa Pascal Gauvin said: “The Holiday Inn brand debuted in Saudi Arabia more than 30 years ago so it is fantastic that we are continuing to expand the brand’s footprint in the Kingdom with the opening of this hotel.
“Saudi Arabia has always been key market for us and with sustained growth in the tourism market here, we are confident that this will continue to be the case for many years to come.”
Holiday Inn Jeddah Gateway is IHG’s 24th hotel in Saudi Arabia. The group’s current portfolio includes 1200 Holiday Inn hotels around the world, with another 269 in the global pipeline.
