$191 million Royal Rose Abu Dhabi officially opens

The latest property from Bin Ham Group’s City Seasons Group of Hotels, Royal Rose Abu Dhabi, has officially opened its doors. The hotel, which had its soft opening last year, was inaugurated by Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority chairman H.E. Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan.

Royal Rose Hotel general manager Gianni Malerba said: “Royal Rose Abu Dhabi is about Arabian Hospitality combined with the grandeur of French architecture and exquisite interiors inspired from the 17th Century. The 355 elegant rooms feature colours that represent royalty - red, gold and emerald green.

"They include 112 Boutique Suites, 20 Luxury and Rose Suites and one Royal Suite. Executive floors offer their own lounges with F&B service. Banquet rooms are as opulent with the Grand Ballroom fitting up to 300 guests. The hotel is perfect for executive travellers as it is just within walking distance from the business hub, government institutions, shopping malls, and other leisure facilities. Some of the other services offered are Cle D'Or Concierge, Limousine transfer, Valet, underground parking, free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and a very elegant Spa and beautiful Gym and Pool areas.

"Another advantage at Royal Rose Abu Dhabi is the spaciousness of its room spanning 35 square meter for a single room to 61 square meter for the Suites.”

Dignitaries, ambassadors and high profile were in attendance as the AED700 million (US $191 million), 355-key property was unveiled. Inauguration was followed by a tour across the hotel’s royal suite, executive lounges, restaurants, spa and other sports & entertainment facilities.

H.E. Al Nahyan was reported to have said that the Royal Rose Hotel, with its architecture and interiors, is an excellent addition to the luxurious hotels in UAE and especially in Abu Dhabi, which in turn will enhance the economic and investment and touristic positions of the Emirates.

Member of the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of Bin Ham Group Sheikh Mussallam Salem Bin Ham said: “Bin Ham Group strives through our local investments to strengthen the national economy. City Seasons Hotels vice-president Sheikh Ahemd Mussallam Bin Ham said: "Royal Rose Abu Dhabi is the first 5-star property of our Group. City Seasons Hotels have been in the hospitality field for 25 years now with properties like Omar Khayyam Hotel, Park Residence and Al Hamra Plaza hotels in Abu Dhabi.

“But it is only in 2004 that City Seasons Group of Hotels, as we know it today, was founded; today we can say that the brand has established itself in the industry despite fierce competition, and City Seasons have managed to position itself as a steady Hotel chain in a record time for this industry.

“City Seasons Hotels will be opening its 7th property in Dubai. The hotel located next to Burjuman has 200 rooms and suites and is scheduled to open by summer 2015, bringing the total number of rooms to over 1600, with future openings in the region to reach 2000 rooms.”

The hotel, which had its soft opening almost a year ago, feature Brasserie Café, Barocco and an all-day dining restaurant, Printania.
