1. Steve Jobs
Jobs often proved conventional wisdom wrong. I am inspired by his boldness and courage to swim again the current. He didn’t aim to be popular, but became so by ultimately being right, and hence a great leader.
2. My father
Learning my full name, people would ask how Hamoud Albadr is related to me. Upon knowing he is my father I often hear that I owe my success to him. For over a decade he was an educator and a leader at the main university in Riyadh. They tell me he went out of his way to help them succeed when they were troubled students. I learned from him the lasting effects of helping people and the benefits of giving second chances.
3. My mother

She started two community organisations, relief campaigns and managed to gather people around her cause. Proactivity and commitment are traits I got from her.
4. Bill Marriott
Mr Marriott built a global hotel empire from a local family business. He is an entrepreneur, who led through building a winning culture, strong brands, and successful hotels. I’m inspired by his human touch, resilience, and vision.
5. The Late King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
