Busaba Eathai CEO Jason Myers said: "We are delighted to open our first restaurant in the Middle East here in Dubai. It is indeed one of the most exciting cities and a hub for the most distinguished and well known restaurants from around the globe.
"Busaba will offer a unique Thai dining experience to Dubai’s residents and visitors, with distinctive, high-quality food that everyone can enjoy. We have chosen The Beach to be the location for our first international restaurant because of its excellent location and the wonderful mix of international cuisines already located here."
The Busaba menu includes a variety of dishes, such as the Thai calamari with ginger and green peppercorn, Mussaman duck curry with rich Southern Thai spices like cardamom, cinnamon and star anise, and the chargrilled salmon fillet with fragrant coconut rice and baby spinach and sesame salad drizzled with a citrus soy dressing
For Thai food enthusiasts, Busaba’s menu offers all the classics: Pad Thai with prawns, green chicken curry, stir-fried morning glory with red chilli, and Som tam salad.
Busaba Eathai was founded by estaurateur Alan Yau (creator of Hakkasan and Wagamama) and recently marked its 15th birthday with the opening of a new flagship branch in London’s Shoreditch.
Expansion plans for the respected UK brand include a series of openings in the Middle East with the Al Mana Group, as well as Busaba’s first foray into the North of England, opening in Manchester later this year.
