Shangri-La Abu Dhabi teams up with Souq.com

Shangri-La hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi has partnered with Souq.com to offer special rates for hotel stay and dining at selected F&B outlets as part of the e-commerce website’s #HeSaleSheSale, taking place from March 29 to 31.

The partnership stems from Souq.com’s past sale successes and efforts to capture female customers with targeted experiences; this is the hotel's first partnership with the online brand.

Speaking about the partnership, Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat, Al Beri, Abu Dhabi general manager Thomas Guss said: “This first time partnership with Souq.com was a natural fit given the hotel’s plan to create a strong online presence and to offer both UAE residents and tourists alike exclusive experiences.

“Aligning with our corporate brand ethos, ‘hospitality from a caring family,’ this collaboration allows for potential and returning guests to acquaint themselves with our elegant yet authentic and hospitable offerings and services.”

The hotel has offered ‘buy one get one free’ deal valid both for room bookings for AED 999 (US $272) and dining at selected F&B outlets ranging from AED 45 ($12) to 499 ($136) throughout the property. The arrangement is exclusive to Souq.com and it’s not offered in conjunction with any other channels.

“Key two for one offerings include reserving a deluxe room with breakfast and receiving a second night’s stay along with buy one get one chef’s menu dining options at some of our renowned restaurants including Shang Palace, Hoi An, Bord Eau and Sofra bld,” continued Guss.
