Hajz Tawlaty Est company has announced the opening of KSA’s first Saudi-owned and operated web service for restaurant bookings and reviews.
Yotable.com opened at the beginning of April and offers the Kingdom’s residents and visitors a user-friendly platform for restaurant bookings and reviews.
While Trip Advisor has an active user base in KSA for hotels and restaurants, there aren’t many other websites available for reviews and none for bookings. Zomato, the Gulf’s most popular user-review site for restaurants, isn’t active in Saudi Arabia.
Yotable.com is now available for restaurants in Riyadh and Jeddah but will eventually include venues across KSA and the rest of the Gulf.
The website is in both Arabic and English and offers a loyalty scheme whereby diners can earn points for each booking they make. They can also save restaurants to their favourites list for easier future bookings.
Once a diner makes a booking on the site, it’s sent to the restaurant and managers can receive bookings online and instantly accept, modify or cancel them.
Co-founder Rashed Islam said, “We are confident [the site] will make securing reservations in restaurants an experience that is both simple and more efficient for diners and restaurateurs.”
