Damac opens The Vogue and Naia Breeze

Crystal Chesters, April 6th, 2015

Damac Hotels & Resorts, the hospitality arm of Damac Properties, has opened two new properties in its serviced apartments portfolio: Naia Breeze and Damac Maison The Vogue.

The properties, which have a joint capacity of more than 500 suites, are the fourth and fifth projects for Damac Hotels & Resorts.

Naia Breeze has 339 serviced apartment units, a café, outdoor swimming pool, separate male and female Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, a gym and a kid’s playground.

Niall McLoughlin, senior vice president of Damac Properties said: “The opening of Damac Maison The Vogue and Naia Breeze reflects the company’s strategy in the hospitality sector, to become a leading player in this field as one of the major hotels and luxury serviced apartments operators in the region.

“After the success of Damac Maison, the first hospitality brand we launched, we introduced Naia as a second brand that represents a different positioning with the same standards of luxury and quality services guaranteed by Damac.”

The second property under the Naia brand, a fully serviced hotel & hotel apartments, will open on Damac’s master development, Akoya by Damac, with a date still to be confirmed.

As with Damac Maison, Naia Breeze and the serviced apartment offering at Akoya by Damac, will sell individual units and offer the chance for owners to submit their apartments into a rental pool. Damac will operate the apartments in the rental pool as serviced apartments.

Naia Hotel will also offer would-be investors the opportunity to own hotel rooms, which provide a 40% share in room revenue to the owner.

The units will come complete with title deeds and 14 free nights’ stay a year as well as zero service and utility charges.

The company also has four projects in the pipeline with Paramount Hotels & resorts, which are being developed in Dubai and Saudi Arabia.

These include Damac Towers by Paramount Hotels & Resorts and Paramount Hotel, Jumeirah Waterfront.

In total, Damac Hotels & Resorts currently has five hospitality projects open, comprising 1450 keys
