The Hunger Games joins the Motiongate Dubai cast

Katniss Everdeen, Peeta Mellark and the cast of District 12 have been announced as the newest characters to join the line-up at Motiongate theme park.

Dubai Parks and Resorts has announced its partnership with Lionsgate, the Canadian-American film company behind the billion-dollar film franchise.

Motiongate, a four million-square-foot park dedicated to the world of cinema, with 27 film-themed rides, is set to open in October 2016 alongside Legoland, Bollywood Parks, Riverland and a family-themed hotel, Lapita.

Construction has already begun on the 730,000 sq ft Dreamworks Animation zone, which will be home to 12 attractions.
