Novotel Dubai Al Barsha appoints F&B director

Novotel has appointed Timothy Jay as F&B director to oversee all F&B operations at the group’s three Dubai Al Barsha properties including, Novotel and Aparthotel Adagio Premium and Ibis Dubai, Al Barsha.

With a background in both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, Jay, who also holds a Bachelor's degree in business management from National Louis University inChicago,  brings with him expertise in both international restaurant chains and local start up operations.

He has previously worked in The Cheesecake Factory in Kuwait, with Kcal in Dubai, as well as Chi Hospitality.

Jay said: "I am thrilled to be joining an international, reputable and accomplished team at the three establish hospitality properties. With Dubai becoming a holiday destination of choice by travellers all of the world and the city’s reputation as an international business centre point, food and beverage offerings at hotels have never been more evaluated than now."

He continued: "We want to offer best in class dining and drinking options to guests, so there their needs are met within the property as well as attract local residents, a key target consumer."
