Boutique hotel operator One to One Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement with Al Sharif Ghalib Endowment for four hotels in Saudi Arabia, marketing the operator's debut in the Kingdom.
A total inventory of 1000 rooms has been secured through the deals, doubling One to One’s portfolio.
Commenting on the announcement Philippe Harb, COO of One to One Hotels said: “Religious tourism is extremely important for our growth and presence in the market.
“The sheer density of developments around the Haram are pushing larger developments outwards and Al Aziziyah is considered a prime district for future intake of more hospitality supply and that’s where One to One hotels are going to be located.
“Hajj visit numbers are expected to continue to grow to 5.2 million by 2025 from two million in 2013.
“Furthermore, there are ongoing negotiations to manage four additional hotels in KSA and increase our presence and strength in the market.
The four new properties will open in Makkah and Jeddah, and one is due to open early this year prior Ramadan.
To support these developments, One to One Hotels & Resorts will launch a new sales and marketing office in Jeddah.
The four properties comprise One to One – Bayadia, a four star hotel to be located in Makkah.
The 403-key property has five F&B outlets, just 4.5km from Al-Haram.
One to One – Al Samman, another four-star hotel has 219 rooms and three F&B outlets. It is located on Aziziah, Al Dalil Street.
The operator will also open the five-star One to One – Al Rusaifa, which has 228 rooms and three F&B outlets. The hotel is located five minutes from Al Masjid Al Haram located on Prince Nasser Bin Saud Street
One to One – Down town, the operator’s first Jeddah property, is a four-star hotel with 70 rooms and two F&B outlets, located in Jeddah’s old town province.
“At One to One Hotels & Resorts we believe in adding value to our investors and re-defining business by establishing long term business associations. Our innovative management fits well in asset allocation of any leisure and lifestyle investment portfolio,” added Harb.
