Restaurant Month returns to The Galleria on Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi from May 1– 31, 2015.
The event will take over the café terraces, more than 10 of The Galleria’s restaurants and cafés, as well as part of Rosewood Abu Dhabi’s dining collection. Family-themed activities including specially designed menus, cooking classes, and kids’ activities will be running throughout the entire month of May.
This is the second time the event is being held, with a number of new restaurants will be joining the Restaurant Month portfolio, including the home-grown and Emirati-owned gourmet café concept Gossip Café and Desserts. Gossip serves Euro-American dishes with Emirati flavors, with optional gluten-free, dairy free and vegan offerings. For Restaurant Month, Gossip will showcase "The Ultimate Dessert”, a signature dessert priced at AED 100, hand crafted by the founder, Dr. Shayma Fawwaz.
Californian and Afghani fusion can be found at Nolu’s Downtown; Bentley Bistro & Bar is set to take guests on an European culinary journey; Authentic North African flavors can be found at Almaz by Momo; For a gourmet taste of Italy, Emporio Armani Café has curated a dedicated menu for Restaurant Month; A homely taste of Italy can be found at Carluccio’s; and, New York’s favorite, Magnolia Bakery, is also part of the event.
Moving into Asia, guests can discover the fusion between Japanese and Mediterranean cuisine at Sushi Art, and Royal Orchid Restaurant will be serving up a culinary cruise to the Far East.
Diners looking for more casual dining options from around the world can find it at Leopold’s of London, Lemongrass Thai Restaurant, and Wildfire New York Grill, with Café Bateel offering a taste of Arabic hospitality.
Rosewood Abu Dhabi's chef Siddharth Krishna of Spice Mela will take guests back in time to the royal court of Rajasthan with a menu created especially for Restaurant Month.
