Rixos reveals second Dubai property

Rixos Hotels has unveiled details surrounding its latest project on Dubai’s Jumeirah Beach Resort's (JBR) The Walk - set to open in 2016.

The property will feature both hotel rooms and suites, as well as residential apartments, alongside a number of dining outlets.

Commenting on the plans, the group’s CEO Bugra Berberoglu said: "This new project will take the urban resort experience to a new and unmatched level. What we are creating here is something different.

“The market for luxury hospitality is substantially over saturated in Dubai, so we will offer something that goes beyond the traditional luxury 5-star experiences and open a destination within a destination that everybody will be talking about.”

The structure of Crystal Towers, which will house Rixos The Walk, aims to serve as a landmark visible from JBR, The Marina, and Palm Jumeirah.

Construction of the towers started in 2014 and is due for completion in 2016 - opening to the public in Q2.
