RAK to get its first Marriott-branded property

Marriott International has signed a new 300-key Marriott resort property in Ras Al Khaimah.

The Rask Al Khaimah Marriott Resort will be the brand’s first property in the emirate and is expected to open in 2019.

The hotel’s inventory will comprise 45 suites, extensive meeting, health, and leisure facilities, and six F&B outlets.

The resort will be located in the northern part of the emirate, with access to a private beach, and in proximity to the Hajjar mountains.

The deal was inked by Marriott Internation CEO Arne Sorenson and HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qasimi at the Arabian Travel Market stand yesterday.
