Le Meridien Dubai plans $122m renovation for MICE

Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre has planned an AED 450 (US $122) million renovations, to contribute to the MICE industry in the build-up for Expo 2020.

Renovation plans include revamp of the rooms, an upgrade of facilities, an additional 196 royal club rooms and six meeting rooms.

Royal Club offers rooms with feature expansive views of the pool and garden, with a private check-in, personalised butler service, as well as a la carte breakfast, afternoon tea and cocktails.

Moreover, the 580-key hotel also plans to offer one of the largest conference and banqueting facilities in Dubai, featuring high-tech equipment.

The hotels will be home to three new ballrooms -  the Great Room, Wasl ballroom and Falcon ballroom, each with a distinct character and style, and a total capacity of 1500 guests.

Additionally, the hotel’s lobby is also set for refurbishment.
