Park Rotana Abu Dhabi appoints new DOS and EAM

Park Rotana and Park Arjaan by Rotana Abu Dhabi has appointed Nadim El Zyr as executive assistant manager and Tamer Refaar as director of sales.

El Zyr holds a bachelor’s degree in International Hotel Management and his expertise lies in revenue management, front office, and food and beverage.

He has previously worked with leading hotel groups in Europe, North America, and the Middle East, and has held managerial positions at various Rotana properties.

Commenting on El Zyr’s appointment, Park Rotana general manager Francisco Giles said: “We are very happy to welcome Nadim to such an important role at Park Rotana hotel. With his solid expertise in the hospitality industry, we are confident that he will bring the hotel to greater heights of success by incorporating new initiatives to further intensify the hotel’s market reach while ensuring and maintaining the highest quality of services and guest satisfaction.”

Tamer Refaat will be in charge of managing and strengthening the hotel’s relationship with current clients, while focusing on generating leads and developing new markets.

He will also be responsible for running the hotel’s sales strategies and activities that will maximise revenues at the property.

The Egyptian national brings more than 14 years of industry experience to his new role, having previously worked with hotel chains such as Shangri-La and Raffles.
