Al Faisaliah Hotel and Hotel Al Khozama have appointed Oliver Braun as director of sales & marketing.
Braun brings 30 years’ experience of improving the commercial performance, market profile and reputation of hotels and resorts. In his new role, he will oversee all marketing, sales and public relations strategies and initiatives for Al Faisaliah Hotel and Hotel Al Khozama.
Al Faisaliah Hotel and Hotel Al Khozama general manager Alexander Blair said: “We are delighted to welcome Oliver and his family to Riyadh. 2015 marks our 15th year of excellence in service at Al Faisaliah Hotel and with exciting redevelopment plans in the works for both Al Faisaliah Hotel and Hotel Al Khozama.

Before joining Al Faisaliah Hotel, Braun spent twelve years with Sun International Resorts and Hotels, most recently based in Dubai as regional director of marketing & market manager GCC/Middle East & India, where he was responsible for all sales and marketing activities in German speaking markets, Central Europe, GCC/Middle East and India.
Prior to working with Sun International, Oliver was the director of business development of Le Royal Méridien Bahrain (now The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain Hotel & Spa). He has also worked as the director of sales and marketing at Intercontinental Hotel Oman and has held various positions with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, and Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts.
