Fujairah Rotana appoints new EAM

Imad Akil has returned to Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa as executive assistant manager.

In his new role, he will manage the hotel’s day to day operations and fill in for the general manager in his absence.

Akil rejoins the team from Park Rotana and Park Arjaan by Rotana, Abu Dhabi, where he served as director of rooms.

He had previously joined the front office department at Fujairah Rotana, where he was director of front office, leading the team for two and a half years.

Akil has almost 16 years of hospitality experience, having worked in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE with Hilton Worldwide, InterContinental Hotels Group, and Rotana.

Commenting on his appointment, Akil said: “I am very pleased to be back again to our stunning Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa and I look forward to working with our great team and to contribute to our continuing growth and success.”
