Ramada Beach Hotel Ajman has appointed Russell Lee Fernandes as its new sous chef cum kitchen-in-charge.
In his new role, Fernandes will oversee the menu and food preparation at the hotel’s two restaurants, as well as banqueting and room service.
He will be expected to monitor and ensure high quality food and service standards across the hotel’s outlets, while keeping track of the production costs.
He will also be responsible for managing and training kitchen employees to enhance their skills and maximise productivity.
Prior to joining Ramada Beach Hotel Ajman, Fernandes was the Mediterranean and Continental chef at The Village in Souq Waqif, Doha.
He has more than 14 years of experience in the culinary sector, having worked in India and the GCC as well as on cruise liners.
Commenting on Fernandes’ appointment, Ramada Beach Hotel Ajman general manager Iftikhar Hamdani said: “We are delighted to welcome Chef Russell on board! His extensive experience, complemented by his zeal in gastronomy will surely have valuable contribution to the F&B team and bring in dining delights to our guests.”
