Hazem Badran, who was previously front office manager at Danat Al Ain Resort from August 2013, has joined Jannah Burj Al Sarab as area revenue manager.
Badran has had various front office positions in his 10-year hospitality career, which began in 2005 at Conrad Sharm El Sheikh, where he was a reservations clerk.
Badran left the hotel in 2006 to join Emirates Palace as reservation sales representative and in 2009 he took on the role of revenue & reservation manager at Anantara Desert Islands, before becoming front office manager at the same property.
Located in the Mina area of the UAE capital, Jannah Burj Al Sarab had its soft opening yesterday.
The hotel is owned by Al Rubaya Group and features 318 rooms and suites across 18 floors.
It also has several restaurants, a health club with a pool, gym and spa.
Jannah Hotels and Resorts opened its first Dubai property - Jannah Place Dubai Marina Hotel - in September last year.
Its opening marked the beginning of an expansion drive by Jannah, which is aiming to have 30 hotels in the next five years.
It currently has five properties across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
