Kempinski Hotel Ajman hosted 60 children from the National Charity School for iftar over two days, to celebrate ramadan.
Children were treated to an iftar buffet at the hotel’s Ramadan sea view tent. Later, they were led to a surprise visit to the pastry kitchen, where they spent time learning some tricks of trade and having fun.
Kempinski Hotel Ajman hotel manager Kai Schukowski said: “We have organised similar events during previous years as well and it is very important for our hotel team to support the less privileged. Ramadan is the month of giving, blessing and peace, and we are always eager to support different social activities.
“For the kids, the opportunity of being a real chef was definitely very interesting, as well as to see how the back-of-the-house operations work. Many of the children could not believe that all of the cookies, wedding cakes and any kinds of sweets that are available at Kempinski Hotel Ajman are actually naturally prepared inside the hotel.
"We are happy that in cooperation with the Action Care organisation, we have once again succeeded in creating joy for the children in need during the blessed month of Ramadan.”
