Ramada Hotel and Suites Ajman has promoted Liyakath Ali, Muhammad Mashood Aaqib, Zahid Hassan and Chandana Nissanka Jayalath to higher roles.

Liyakath Ali has been promoted from assistant manager for housekeeping to assistant executive housekeeper. He has been with Ramada Hotel and Suites Ajman for four years and in his new role, he will be responsible to ensure that high standard of cleanliness is observed in all areas of the property.
Muhammad Mashood Aaqib, who joined Ramada Hotel and Suites Ajman as the purchasing assistant, now takes the role of purchasing manager. He will be in-charge of supervising the department and liaising with suppliers to ensure smooth transaction and delivery for the hotel’s various departments.
From his role as engineering team leader, Zahid Hassan has been promoted to assistant engineer. He joined the team in 2011 as AC technician and worked his way up to his current role. In his new role, he will assist the chief engineers in the maintenance and repair of power supplies and electrical equipment of the hotels. He is also tasked to suggest cost-effective solutions and help keep track of the property’s power and water consumption, as environment friendly practices are a major focus for the hotel.
Chandana Nissanka Jayalath has been named as the new assistant food and beverage manager at Ramada Beach Hotel Ajman. Prior to this role, he was the banquet manager at Ramada Hotel and Suites Ajman. He will be responsible for the hotel’s two restaurants, plus room service and will support the cluster F&B manager in supervising food and service standards, and in boosting revenue from the outlets. He has been with the property for five years, where he started as food & beverage supervisor.
