Le Méridien Abu Dhabi hotel has appointed Kristofer Bremstrom as its new director of food and beverage. He joins from Sheraton Hotel Stockholm, Sweden, where he has had various roles since 2010 and was in charge of the F&B and banquet operations.
Commenting on the new appointment, Le Méridien Abu Dhabi general manager Stuart Birkwood said: “Kristofer brings a wide spectrum of knowledge to Le Méridien Abu Dhabi and will be an asset to our team. Together with Kristofer, we look to bringing exciting new tastes to the Abu Dhabi scene as well as developing new culinary experiences and further grow our presence in the capital."
Bremstrom holds a masters degree Stockholm University, School of Business and is a keen sportsman. He was previously a cyclist from 1992 to 2001 and was also part of the Swedish National Cycling Team from 1998 to 2000.

In his new role, Bremstrom will be responsible for leading both the service and culinary teams that cover 10 venues and banquet with meeting space. He will also drive the overall strategy, increase offerings for both existing and new clients, and deliver quality guest experiences.
