Ritz-Carlton Doha begins modernisation programme

The Katara Hospitality-owned Ritz-Carlton Doha will remain operational while it renovates 374 guestrooms, its spa, VIP Club Lounge, ballroom and meeting rooms.

GM Erden Kendigelen said: “Once we finish, we will have the most sophisticated luxury guestroom product in the city of Doha and the largest gym facility in Qatar”.

The two-phase project will also upgrade the lobby, restaurants and outdoor recreational facilities, and provide shades for car parking spaces.

The first phase is targeted for completion in mid-2016 and the second phase in mid-2017.
