Reputed to have originally been used by English novelist Jane Austen, Mikado, in English fine bone china by Royal Crown Derby, is a traditional blue and white decoration re-imagined for the 21st century.
The pattern features different scenes from the Opera ‘Mikado’ which are used to decorate each item in the range, with images accentuated by the use of contemporary colourways and combinations. These can be used as individual or colour collections.
Distributed in the region by A. Ronai, Mikado’s multi-coloured palette includes seven colour ways; zesty cantaloupe and lime, brilliant pink, and vivid taupe, lavender, turquoise and blue.
The collection includes plates, teacup and saucer, demitasse cup and saucer, breakfast cup and saucer, teapot, cream jug, sugar bowl, canister, coffee cup and saucer and sandwich tray.
