Rixos The Palm, Dubai is hosting Michelin-starred chef, Crescenzo Scotti, where he will take over the kitchen and cook for guests in the L’Olivo restaurant.
As part of the Italian Cuisine World Summit delegation, the master chef will serve a six course degustation menu of Italian fusion cuisine at the resort’s L’Olivo restaurant.
Dishes on offer will include tomato & buffalo mozzarella salted ice cream, lobster “cappuccino” foam with creamy milk potatoes and black squid ink powder and baby squid ”beccafico”.
Originating from Campania in Italy, Scotti works in Vulcano, one of seven islands in the Aeolian archipelago. An avid cook since the age of 13, he was awarded his first Michelin star at the age of 38 in 2014.
2015 marks the seventh year of the event, where 25 of Italy’s top Michelin starred chefs converge on Dubai’s world-class restaurant scene for the Italian Cuisine World Summit - an annual foodie extravaganza showcasing the finest in Italian cuisine and culture.
The six course menu costs AED 340 per person and will be available in the first week of November.
