2000 hotel rooms planned for Dubai South

The upcoming Dubai South development will feature 2000 hotel rooms, according to a recent report.

Aviation District will have a hospitality element located near the airside facilities, Tahnoon Saif, vice-president of aviation at Dubai South told Gulf News.

“We have two phases related to hospitality with a total of five hotels planned across the Aviation District,” he said. According to him, phase 1 has sold out, with phase 2 set to launch quarter-three 2016.

There will be five hotels that will have the 2000 keys shared between them, according to Saif. As of this time, the operators have not been announced.
