Devina Divecha, November 16th, 2015

InterContinental Hotels & Resorts officially launched its new-look Club InterContinental experience in Dubai with an evening reception at the InterContinental Dubai Marina.

Guests were welcomed by Bruce Ryde, director brand marketing, luxury & lifestyle brands, AMEA at InterContinental Hotels Group, Michael Martin, regional general manager at InterContinental Hotels Group and Damian ten Bohmer, director commercial - Middle East & Africa, IHG.

The Club InterContinental offering focuses on providing a personalised end to end experience for guests, from the moment they make a reservation to stay at an InterContinental hotel or resort until the end of their stay.

To enhance the Club experience InterContinental recently launched a dedicated site featuring Club InterContinental’s benefits and privileges for guests and enabling them to book Club InterContinental accommodation.

Ryde said: “We are delighted to be in Dubai to showcase our Club InterContinental offering... Club InterContinental is much more than a room category – it includes an array of bespoke privileges from the moment your make your Club InterContinental reservation to your departure from the hotel.

"Our guests can enjoy an array of services including dedicated staff on hand to assist them, Club rooms and access to the exclusive Club InterContinental Lounge."

He further said that it was important to anticipate guests' needs and cater to individual preferences, and it was with this in mind that the company enhanced its offering.

Among the services offered include a call from the Club InterContinental team in the guest's chauffeured car from the airport, a gourmet breakfast buffet in the Club InterContinental Lounge; complimentary pressing, a daily turndown service, a dedicated Club InterContinental room and evening drinks and light dining such as canapés.
