Grand Millennium Dubai hires engineering director

Feroze Jahangir Shah has joined the Grand Millennium Dubai as the hotel's new director of engineering.

Shah has more than 17 years' experience in the hospitality industry, as well as 18 years at sea as a marine engineer having been trained and educated in the UK.

Prior to this role, he was the senior facilities manager & head of operations at Secureplus Facilities Management Company in Jebel Ali, Dubai.

In his new role, Shah will be responsible for overall supervision, leadership and direction of the engineering division.

Besides his day to day tasks, a key objective for him will be to maintain effective energy management/conservation and planned preventive and reactive maintenance programmes at the hotel.

During the course of his career, he has held key positions at a number of hotels including Hyatt Regency Dushanbe Tajikistan, Business Central Towers - Dubai, Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman, Sandals Antigua Caribbean Village Resort & Spa West Indies, Avari Hotels Karachi, Towers Rotana Hotel - Dubai, Hyatt Regency Hotel & Towers, Makkah -KSA, Annakheel Village Resort, Jeddah - KSA and Pearl Continental Hotels Group.
