Devina Divecha, December 8th, 2015

The Hormuz Grand Hotel, Muscat, which opened doors in 2014, has joined Carlson Rezidor’s Quorvus Collection.

The interiors are a blend of modern Asian and Middle Eastern design, with a decorative pool and water courtyard – both with an open roof – as a centerpiece.

“Our phenomenal growth in the Middle East region is second to none. The addition of the Hormuz Grand Hotel, Muscat – part of our luxury brand Quorvus Collection – is showcasing the best of our Middle Eastern heritage and future ambitions,” said The Rezidor Hotel Group area vice president, Middle East and Turkey Mark Willis.

“The Hormuz Grand Hotel, Muscat joins the meticulously designed Symphony Style Hotel Kuwait and G&V Royal Mile Hotel Edinburgh – giving us a solid platform to develop this collection of carefully selected properties further in the Middle East & Turkey," added Willis.

The Hormuz Grand Hotel has 231 rooms and suites, and is located 4km away from Muscat International Airport and 20km away from the city centre

The hotel's F&B aims to add a five-star dining experience. Straits offers international all-day dining with buffet style service at breakfast and lunch – followed by a la carte menu for dinner.
