Two Spoons launches Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt

Nikhil Pereira, December 10th, 2015

US-based Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt has partnered with Two Spoons, to open four frozen yogurt outlets in Dubai by the end of 2015.

The Orange Leaf outlets will open in Mall of the Emirates, Mirdiff City Center, The Dubai Mall and The Mall on Jumeirah Beach Road.

In addition, Two Spoons has signed a territory development agreement to open many outlets across the Middle East by identifying and partnering with local franchisees in various markets.

“Consumer demand for frozen yogurt in the Middle East has grown exponentially,” said Carl Ghossoub, managing director of Two Spoons and territory developer of Orange Leaf in the Middle East.

“We are thrilled to develop the Orange Leaf brand in the region and look forward to working with other franchise partners who will use their food and beverage experience to drive the brand forward in the Middle East.”

Outlets in the Middle East will mirror the experience of Orange Leaf outlets in the U.S., giving customers the ability to create their own desserts with self-serve frozen yogurt machines and a wide variety of toppings.

These locations will offer locally and internationally sourced, authentic toppings preferred by customers in each location and once the initial outlets are established, Orange Leaf will develop frozen yogurt flavours that cater to regional tastes.

The Mall of the Emirates will be the first Orange Leaf location to open at the beginning of December.

Orange Leaf's Middle East expansion plans are part of its overall global growth strategy. With more than 300 stores in the U.S. and five in Australia, Orange Leaf is cultivating strategic franchise relationships in other international markets targeting 700 stores worldwide and continuing to build its brand awareness through a variety of partnerships such as that with Oklahoma City Thunder NBA basketball star, Kevin Durant.
