Hilton Garden Inn Dubai Mall of the Emirates has opened its doors to business becoming the second largest Garden Inn in the world.
The property is also the largest outside of America and the first LEED Gold hotel by Majid Al Futtaim in Dubai. The new hotel has 370 guestrooms – 132 of which are interconnecting.
Simon Barlow, CEO of hotels at Majid Al Futtaim Properties, commented: “The opening of the Hilton Garden Inn Dubai Mall of the Emirates represents yet another example of Majid Al Futtaim’s continuous investment to improve the overall customer experience at our flagship mall in Dubai. By partnering with Hilton, we continue to strengthen Al Barsha and the business community surrounding the Mall of the Emirates as a prime location. The Hilton Garden Inn brand is highly regarded by business and leisure travellers.”
Leading the region in sustainable development, the hotel was also awarded gold certification by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) as the first LEED Gold hotel property by Majid Al Futtaim in Dubai.
This is in line with the company’s strategy of making all its new developments compliant with world-class green building standards to achieve sustainable economic growth in the communities where it operates.
The features in the hotel include a health club, outdoor pool, business centre, and flexible meeting spaces. On the F&B front, the hotel has The Garden Grille, The Garden Café, The Garden Bar and the all-day Pavilion Pantry.
Oliver Kesseler, general manager, Hilton Garden Inn Dubai Mall of the Emirates, said: "We are delighted to open our doors to travellers across the Middle East, Europe and the rest of the world looking to visit Dubai whether for work or pleasure - especially those looking to enjoy Dubai as a world-class shopping destination.”
This property follows the recently opened Hilton Garden Inn Dubai Al Muraqabat and Hilton Garden Inn Dubai Al Mina, and represents the latest addition to the brand's growing portfolio of more than 650 hotels worldwide.
