Radisson Blu Muscat appoints new general manager

Mohammed Yassine takes over management of the Radisson Blu hotel in Muscat

Mohammed Yassine has joined Radisson Blu Hotel Muscat as the new general manager to drive business and revenue, leading a team of employees and managing owner relations for the hotel.

Yassine arrives in Muscat, Oman following a position in Dubai where he was the general manager at the Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Downtown.

Prior to his role in Dubai he was based in Sharm-El-Sheikh as general manager for both the Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson Resort.

Yassines previous experience working with Radisson Blu also includes heading up the Radisson Blu Resort El Quseir as well as the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa Cesme in Turkey.

“This hotel is a flagship property being the very first extension of the company in the Sultanate of Oman and I am excited about the opportunities and the challenges ahead,” he said.

A Lebanese national, Yassine holds a diploma in Hotel Management from Les Roches in Bluche, Switzerland.

Yassine also worked in a number of management positions in the UAE, Egypt and Saudi Arabia before joining Rezidor in December 2003 as director of food and beverage at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Yassine will be ultimately responsible for guest and employee satisfaction in his new role, in addition to maintaining a peak performing environment within the hotel.
