Atana Hotels introduces spotlight on Omani culture

Atana Hotels is Oman’s first home-grown hotel group, operating two properties in the Musandam Peninsula: Atana Khasab and Atana Musandam.

From this month, Atana adds a new guest experience to the Atana Musandam with weekly Omani cultural nights taking place at the property.

On Thursdays and Fridays at the Atana Musandam, the cultural evening brings when Omanis, dressed in traditional local garments, light torches around the hotel courtyard at sunset. Guests are then served coffee and dates and local bakhour (incense) is lit.

The evening will featuring performances from an oud player, henna painting and demonstrations on how to prepare traditional Omani desserts.
