Atana Hotels has teamed up with local Omani charity Dar Al Atta’a, to help it reward employee service.

Founded in 2002, the charity helps the poor and underprivileged of Oman. Dar Al Atta’a helps to provide better opportunities of education, job placements and better living conditions.

The charity selected an employee of the year, whose reward was a prize from Atana Hotels.

Dar Al Atta’a charity selected Ahmed Abdul Aziz, who has worked with the charity as finance manager for seven years.

Dar Al Atta’a chairperson Maryam Al Zadjali said: “This initiative by Dhiaffa and Atana Hotels will certainly boost our employees’ confidence and motivation. Due to our limited resources we are not able to provide staff at Dar Al Atta’a with privileges that staff in other corporations receive.”

The prize and reward for Abdul Aziz was two nights’ stay full board, for himself and his family at Atana Musandam. Abdul Aziz also received a dhow cruise, mountain safari and return ticket from to Muscat to Khasab sponsored by Khimji's House of Travel.

Dhiaffa managing director (a member of the OMRAN group) Pascal Eppink commented: “We are delighted and proud to be part of the Dar Al Atta’a network and we have committed to taking our cooperation further.

“In 2016 Atana Hotels will be part of Dar Al Atta’a’s quarterly as well as yearly employee motivational initiatives by sponsoring hotel stays and relaxation packages.”
