New cluster general manager for R Hotels in Dubai

R Hotels has appointed a new cluster general manager for two properties in Dubai: Ramada Downtown Dubai and Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham.

The newly appointed cluster GM, Samir Arora, previously served as GM of the Ramada Downtown Dubai for the last two and a half years. During his time in this role, Arora oversaw the refurbishment of the 181 key property.

In his new role as cluster general manager, Arora will oversee the day-to-day operations of both hotels.

Managing director of Ajman-based group R Hotels Sumair Tariq commented on the appointment: “We are confident that he will serve as a great leader to both hotels as he was able to bring in notable developments and contribution not only to Ramada Downtown but also for the group.”

Arora brings over 25 years of experience to this new role, with previous posts at Emaar Group as resident manager for Vida Downtown, and executive assistant manager at Al Manzil Downtown.
