La Petite Maison Dubai has collaborated with Opera Gallery to display artwork during Art Week in March.
Diners at the DIFC-based restaurant will be able to view sculptures from New York artist Jonathan Seliger and photography from Canadian Douglas Kirkland, who found fame after photographing Marilyn Monroe for Look Magazine’s 25th anniversary in 1961.
The pieces will be exhibited in the restaurant from March 13-20 2016.
“Art and food have a lot of parallels. Both are open to interpretation and we want to provide a space that allows guests to experience both. Hanging works of art at La Petite Maison Dubai, keeps the atmosphere inspirational and refreshing,” said Antoine Jaillet, general manager, La Petite Maison Dubai.
Art Week brings together Dubai’s creative industries in a week-long celebration of arts and culture.
